Through the Lens of Ani Collier: D is for Dance Alive

I had always wanted to travel (which was not a given growing up behind The Iron Curtain), and when the wall came down, I left Bulgaria.

I stumbled upon my first dance job in the United States with Dance Alive (then Florida State’s Touring Company) almost by accident and will be forever thankful to Kim for offering me a contract on the spot.

After a few years on stage, I started experimenting with video... and later with photography.

I have so many Dance Alive photos, it is hard to make a selection. Here are a few from over the years:
